Hi, I’m Jan

Hands-on Tech Lead / Staff-level backend engineer and Engineering Manager from Germany with a strong backend focus on PHP/Symfony, platform engineering, production systems, and AI-assisted development workflows.

Also part of the mix: architecture, mentoring, people leadership, observability, security, and AI-first engineering.

I build and run backend systems, integrations, and delivery workflows. These days I work AI-first with coding agents and LLM-assisted workflows as a normal part of engineering work.

My recent work combines backend development, Docker/Kubernetes platform work, CI/CD, incident-aware operations, system modernization, and technical leadership.
